Gabriel García Márquez | Complete Works
In the first anniversary of the decease of Gabriel García Márquez, Nobel Prize of Literature, Mexican publishers Planeta/Diana issued a new edition of his Complete Works, comprising 26 titles, including novels, short stories, press articles, interviews and memories. Meave Stvdivm was commissioned to design and illustrate the collection. A vivid colour-scheme was devised to portray the exuberant, Magical-Realism world of this eminent author. Michel Quintero designed the covers and linings. I was in charge of the illustrations, portraying an array of tropical birds, on the style of 18th-century zoological manuals.
