For many years now, I’ve kept numbered Sketchbooks for my personal drawings, studies, projects and notes. This is the cover of No. XXVII for the year 2016, featuring a perky ‘ink muse’ and the tools of the trade. Everything was executed with graphite pencil and golden ink over cotton paper.
