Thematic, historic illustration of Joan of Arc for «Viernes de ilustración». «Viernes de Ilustración» is a collective show of weekly, thematic artwork among a Mexican community of illustrators. The subject here was «Heroes», so I took the chance to make a tribute to Joan of Arc, one of my favorite historical characters, probably the youngest person in History having a major influence in shaping the Western world, besides being a quite intriguing and enigmatic one (and besides, a girl!). The artwork was executed with traditional/digital techniques.
